I'm Back

Hi one and all,
I am back on deck after having a knee replacement, not much fun.
I have taken a while to get back to my blog but instead I have been having a lot of fun in my stamping room. I have been very busy making fun things and having the time to do it.
I have not been up to having classes but that said the next class will be on Thursday the 7th November with a Christmas theme of course.
I will only be having the morning class 10am to 12pm to get back into the swing of things.
All products supplied as well as light refreshments for $15.
Email me at gaymere@bigpond.com if you are interested.

We will be making a box to package a small bottle of 200mL Bubbly and a Christmas card that would look good as the centre piece on the Christmas table.

Hope to see you at class,
Cheers Gail.

A Bit of This and a Bit of That

Hi all you happy stampers, are you holed up inside stamping your little hearts out.
It is winter here in Western Australia but you could be forgiven for thinking that it is spring or autumn. The weather is beautiful but it's not so good about the rain, I would like to see lots more rain to fill our dams and the aquifer as well as sending rain inland to our long suffering farmers.

This next class will be held on the 15th of August.
Morning 10am - 12am and Evening 7pm - 9pm.
Cost $15 all products supplied as well as light refreshments.
Come along and enjoy some fun and have a good laugh as well as share stamping tips.
Email me if you are interested gaymere@bigpond.com

With some of the cards that I post on this site you will notice that I use stamps etc that have been discontinued, the reason is that I buy something that I like and keep it and I am sure that many of you stampers out there are the same. That said I like to see the products being used and I hope that you will pull out all your old toys and make them feel wanted again. I will always be posting new products as well like the Celebrate card, just substitute the stamp set for Sassy Salutations stamp set.
Pop by from time to time to get ideas.

Do enjoy and leave a comment,
Cheers Gail.

Swinging in the Moonlight

Hi everyone,
I am a little late with this post but here it is at last.
The next Kindred Spirits class will be held on the 1st August,
Morning 10am to 12am and Evening 7pm to 9pm.
All products supplied as well as light refreshment for $15.
This class will focus on a new technique as well as making a monochromatic card.
Enjoy and make a comment to let me know what you think.
Cheers Gail.

At the end of the post I have added a thank you card that I designed for my customers, this card was made using what they received in their first order, it shows you how little you need to start up.
The other card that I have posted is a male birthday card that I made for someone who loves his music.
This card was made using some products that are not Stampin'Up.
I just love the Sassy Salutations stamp set from Stampin'Up.
I just love this stamp set as it is my go to stamp for wording, it gives such impact to the card.
I used in all three of the cards that are in this post.
Enjoy.

Trees & Folds

Welcome back everyone,
I hope you had fun making the cards in the last post, if so leave a comment on how you went.
Stampin'Up! has so many beautiful stamps, card stock, punches etc as well as the way that all their DSP papers go with the ribbons, stamp pads and card stock. The punches and Framelits are coordinated well with the stamps so that you are able to make a stunning card without to much effort.
You still have to the 30th of May to join with the extra $60 benefit on top of the special joining up fee.
This is a good time to join and get your Big Shot or something else special. Just click on the green Stampin'Up! Logo on the right side of the page to get the details.

Well onto next weeks class this Thursday the 23rd of May.
Morning 10am to 12am and evening from 7pm to 9pm.
All products supplied as well as light refreshments for $15.
We are making two each of two beautiful cards, Twisted You're the Best and Trees at Dusk.
