Scrap-Book page of my beautiful Mother

Hi one and all,
As I won't be having a class next Easter Thursday I thought you may like to see a page I did with a beautiful photo of my Mother.
I used the Artisan Embellishments Kit and More Amore DSP from the Autumn catalogue, you can find them on page 10.
I lightly sponged the paper, tags, hearts, flowers and lace to give the page a more antique look.
I hope you like this as it was a very quick page to put together.
Cheers till next time Gail.

If you would like to order this kit and DSP email me at gaymere@bigpond.com.

By the way I just love comments and would like to know if you would like to see anything in particular. Thanks Gail.

Something Special

Hi everyone,
It is great to be back with another post for the next class.
This time we will be making a Wedding Card and a Money Pocket.

Now days with weddings many people suggest that you give them money as they have everything in their houses already.
I came up with this cute little pocket with the pullout card that you can write a message on then it pop in the pocket with the money.
We will also be making the Beautiful Butterfly card, you can put any sentiment on the inside of the card.

We have been having such hot weather here in Western Australia at the moment so it has been a good opertunity the play with all the beautiful stamps and punches, that I have stashed away in my play room. I love the way all the StampinUp! products cordinate so beautifuly together from the paper to the stamp pads etc.

Cheers Gail.

A Friends Birthday Card

Hi all,
I thought I would just show you this card that I made for a dear Stampin'Up friend of mine
who is leaving and going to another state to live.
It was her birthday last Friday and I wanted a card that was a bit special so that she
knows that my love goes with her and her family.

For this card I used the new Greeting Card Kids and Itty Banners stamp sets,
Baja Breeze and Whisper White card stock,
Perfect Poka Dots embossing folder,
Basic Grey Classic Stamp Pad,
Rhinestones,
Pink Pirouette taffeta ribbon,
Many Marvelous Markers,
Stampin' Glitter and 2-Way Glue Pen,
Bitty Banners Framelits and Labels Collection Framelits to cut the window in the card and I then used the cut out piece of white card stock for the little girl adhered to the inside of the card.
I finished the inside of the card by adding detail to the inserted Framelit with the Paper-Piercing Pack and Mat.
I love these stamps and I will be using them a lot more.
I think I may have a class in the New Year just using these stamp sets for cards , etc.

I hope you enjoyed this card, keep popping back to see more new designs in the New Year.
Fun to all, Gail.
